I know this mod is old, but curiosity got the better of us. Is there something else we need to do in order to get this thing to work?

What can we do to fix this error? I have absolutely no idea on how to fix this issue, or where to even begin.

Both of our systems are using Windows 10 64-bit, and both systems are on a Hamachi network.

We both are using Steam Versions of New Vegas, and we used the auto-installer from Nexus Mods to install VaultMP to our New Vegas Folder. (most recent version) After running it and saving with both launchers, nvse should load fallout nv with the 4gb patch. install nvse beta and run it using it own launcher. It doesn't matter who hosts the server, as the error is thrown regardless of whoever hosts the server. download fallout 4gb and the beta version of nvse. Now, the person who hosts the server can join the game with no issues, but the other person who connects via the client initially connects, but disconnects shortly after, and throws an error saying the following - Player creation with BaseID xxxxxxx and NetworkID xxxxxx failed We managed to create a server using the files provided (vaultmaster and vaultserver), and both of us can see the server using vaultmpd. It wasn't skepticism you had here, but out right judgmental entitlement.One of my friends and I decided to install VaultMP from Nexus Mods recently. but i can make it come true, where as you are completely out of line. We could go on and on about how things could be done. If they want to do MP then they can and will pay for a proven talent to do it.

And if I don't neither Obsidian nor Bethesda are going to. To be brutally honest _I_ don't think you're serious. * the servers let can be capped any way you want. it is a solid code base targeting oblivion, fallout 3, and new vegas. if it does, it will be with my own money after i sell my indie game. and probably some unique locations as well. i would rather Bethesda fund me through a paypal donation of a few thousand, then i could work really hard with a team to seamlessly add game-wide multiplayer.

but when you want the single player game itself to be adapted for more than 1 guy it becomes complicated. What i just described above could be done and work very well. Teams would even be setup and you could find items fight/win. Several times i wanted to go back and make a 007/perfect dark like game level that had the multiplayer functionality. without changing the game, we are looking at direct p2p and like Tale said, the host would be the captian. Depending on how the developers felt about item duplication.

Only the host can do quests so they don't have to worry about states. Went ahead and moved this to computer and console. Or, you could have a rival across the map working towards intersecting story portions where they try to bust your skull. Picture that the entire time youre exploring the different places around the Wasteland, you could either have a Multiplayer companion helping you through Deathclaws, Cazadores, and Mirelurks. None of this Call of Duty (15+ players) BS, but a coinsiding story environment.

Lets get one thing straight right away, we need to keep it minimal. All Ive been able to consider in my Fallout experience has been the extent to which a multiplayer aspect of Fallout 3 and New Vegas could be pretty sweet.
